After building a strong foundation in research with firms like CLSA, Solomon Smith Barney and Marlin Partners, Rahul worked with JP Morgan (New York) as an India specialist before eventually transitioning to Asset management with Kingdon Capital and Sansar Capital. In 2021, he developed the CEGARP model which remains the bedrock of Pegasus Investment style.

After working as a private banker for over 10 years with Citibank India and Kotak Mahindra Bank, Jaya Mehrotra transitioned to becoming a Leadership Coach, where she works with CEOs, women in leadership roles, and business heads. She is also the Founder & CEO of Women Leadership Circle (WLC) and brings deep understanding of human capital and growth mindset of the management teams we invest in.
Analyst & Head of AI Research
Jay heads Pegasus' AI research initiative. He holds an MSc. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics with a focus on Quantitative Finance from Stony Brook University and a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University. Prior to joining Pegasus, Jay applied his expertise as a Quantitative Analyst focusing on AI applications at Pareto AI and as a Financial Engineer at Prussian AI in California. At Pegasus, Jay leverages his quantitative proficiency to enhance our proprietary CEGARP framework through advanced analytics and data-driven research.
